Patrick Kaleta expected back this week!

Patrick Kaleta stated on Saturday night that he expects to be back this coming weekend against either the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday or Syracuse Crunch on Saturday, he has played only two games this season.

When asked if he’s really ready to go for the rest of the season he smiled and said, “I sure am planning on it!”  He has been out with a groin injury that has plagued him from training camp with the Buffalo Sabres.

Patrick Kaleta became a fan favorite last year with his hard hitting style of hockey.  In the 06/07 season he played 58 games with the Amerks for 5 goals, 10 assists, and a whopping 133 penalty minutes.  He also played in 7 games for the Buffalo Sabres where he tallied 2 assists and 21 penalty minutes, he is best known for his part in the brawl versus the Ottawa Senators.

About the author... I started LetsGoAmerks.com in 2007 when there was a hole in the media universe regarding coverage of the Rochester Americans (there still is). The team has provided media access which allows us to obtain information and interviews. You won't find coverage about the team like this anywhere else!
