Amerks Split The Weekend

The Rochester Americans ended the weekend with a win on Friday against the Manchester Monarchs and a loss against the Providence Bruins on Saturday.

On Friday night they beat the Monarchs by the score of 3-1, Mark Mancari had two goals and one assist, and Drew Larman in his first game back from an injury had a goal and an assist.

Tonight they lost 5-1 with Stefan Meyer scoring the lone goal for the Amerks at 6:27 in the third period on a power play with assists from Mancari and Zagrapan.  The five goals scored by the Providence Bruins came in the second period.  The Amerks were also outshot 35-22.

The Amerks return home next Friday to play against the Toronto Marlies and on Sunday against the Binghamton Senators.

Also, this week you can go to the Original Charbroil House on Thursday December 6th at 6:30pm to see Dylan Hunter and Patrick Kaleta.  They will mingel and sign autographs for about an hour.
