  2. Caruso was just part of the first cuts and is staying in Rochester. I like the guy but he’s not an NHL player right now

  3. I’m not saying Caruso is NHL ready. All I’m saying is a player like him a stay at home guy. A smooth passer from his own end deserves at least one exhibition game doesn’t he.
    All accounts say he is a great dressing room guy he’s entering his 3rd and final year and likely will not be a call up this season. Add to that the emergence of guys like Ellerby and recent drafting on the back end he may never get his shot. The kid has done well at this level and continues to progress. Maybe throw the kid a bone and allow him the opportunity. I hope for his sake he has another solid year and next year moves on and get the chance elsewhere. It’s too bad in my view.
