Wish List for 2019

Please add your own.

As the 2019 portion of the schedule arrives here are some things I'd like to see...some can happen, others probably not

*Amerks do not fold their tent like last year. They finish 1st and enjoy a deep playoff run. If I had to list 10 things I wanted, this one would be all 10.

*Since thats not likely, how about better play at home. A lot better play
*Increased attendance, at least on the weekends. Bigger more enthusiastic crowds energize the team. They may not admit it, but its true.
*Brian Gionta comes out of retirement and plays another game for the Amerks. guaranteed largest crowd of the year. (hey, why not?)
*Total revamping of the seating bowl at the BCA. Pegula has the money. Fans here deserve a much better venue. More leg room, better seats.
*Noise reduction...the music is not going away but at least it could be turned down. (this is never going to happen but I list it anyway)
*New sound system which could help the above. Current one is horrible
*Amerks wear their 60's 'reds' for all home games. My alltime favorite unis...and they won 3 Cups with them!
* Have Sonny, the original Moose comeback for one night...riding his 3 wheel ATV onto the ice
*New D&C editor realizing its insanity to not cover our 2 major pro teams and does something about it. (this too may never happen in the print editions but at least in the online version, it definitely needs to happen)
*Amerks get a real marketing unit up and functioning. It will take effort but Rochester Americans hockey must return to the fabric and minds of the community.
*Sabres end the Bailey experiment and move him along. It just isn't working
*Alex Nylander finally reaches his potential and scores 30 for the Amerks before getting called up to Buffalo
*Zach Redmond gets his mojo back and plays like he did in October
*Wedgewood establishes himself as the #1 goalie and plays out of his mind 2nd half
*Tom and I get to enjoy our celebratory bottle of wine this summer...toasting the Calder Cup!! :D :D

On my wish list is that Alex Nylander is traded far, far away.

Random question that should be seen here, have two family members ever won a Calder Cup with the Amerks?

As for my wish list, I agree with all of the above. Maybe I should send a resume to the D&C.

I don't think 2 family members have won a Calder Cup for the Amerks....unless this is a trick question!!

Not a trick question. Was something I thought about when I found out that Wayne Primeau is Dalton Smith's uncle.

that would be nice. doesn't happen all that often, especially at home when the best we can usually get is 20 minutes.

primeau played all of 8 games for the Amerks in 1995-96. He was just coming up from the lower levels. Hardly remember him at all.
