Bills Beat the J-E-T-S Jets

Post by insagt1 » Sun Sep 08, 2019 7:57 pm

Bills stepped out of character today and instead of blowing the game in the 4th quarter, they came back and won it. After pretty much stinking out the place for 3 quarters, in a penalty filled, turnover filled (for Buffalo) game with no flow at all...Josh Allen did his Tom Brady impersonation and led the charge in the 4th quarter resulting in 2 TD's, while the 'd' held off the Jets in the final minutes.
A nice start. Not a pretty one, but a win is a win.

I can imagine all the media was scrambling in the final minutes changing their game stories...which would have skewered Allen...to Allen as hero.

I'll give Allen his dues. He wasn't perfect but he made it count when it was needed the most.

The defense were then heroes though. 6 turnovers yet they shut the Jets offense down.

The next 2 opponents are beatable so I'm expecting a 3-0 start.

Then we got the Patriots. You would think that at 42 years old Tom Brady would start to slow down. But apparently he's not human.

They are going to the Playoffs and so are the Sabres.
They spent their own dough to get here, and they came here to see us! All right, let's show 'em what we got, guys! Get out there on the ice and let 'em know you're there.

The offense took 3 quarters to show up. That defense is seriously legit. If the offense can be mediocre to decent and the defense stay healthy, they could be a tough out. I’m sure they’ll be looking good, D will be #1 over all until they play the Pats.

Bills with a rather routine win 28-14 over the Giants. First time in their history they have started out 2-0 on the road. I'm not sure they are ready to take on the machine known as the Patriots...but we'll soon see if they enter that game 3-0. Brady's Bunch clearly still the class of the division.

What Brady is doing at 42 years old is unbelievable.

That said, he dominated a historically bad Dolphins team that has been outscored 110-10 in their first 2 games. yeesh. And the Pittsburgh Steelers are also bad.

Bills defense is legit. And Josh Allen is the 1st Bills Quarterback to hit 7 straight 200 yard games since Jim Kelly in 1992.

Satan and his demons win again.

However it wasn't all bad.

The defense made the Greatest Quarterback of all time look like an amateur. Frank Gore had a great game surpassing 15,000 career rushing yards.

Josh Allen has room for improvement. Hopefully he'll come back from his injury.
