who's the new injury in Buffalo necessitating this recall? It will be good to see Rankin back...but Tropp is also pretty valuable. Interesing that it wasn't Adam....I'd be willing to sit Adam a game or two if his play doesn't pick up. Sabres might not be happy...but then again, thats why he was sent down...his play had deteriorated...and if it doesn't improve here, then its quite proper to let someone else play. Disappointed in the recall, but thats life.

Yes Tropp is replacing Brad Boyes (which should be an upgrade comsidering the way Boyes play has been this season)....

Buffalo continues to take players and do nothing to help the Amerks. Why am I not surprised.

Well in this case the Amerks already have Rankin ready to come back. Depending how long McCormick and Boyes are out for they may call up someone else for the West coast trip. A good scenario would've been Tropp staying and Kassian coming back but that was wishful thinking.
