New Amerks Coach, Ron Rolston

The “Twitterverse” news spread quick this afternoon from a tweet by @CapCareyWDT stating that Ron Rolston will be named the new Head Coach of the Rochester Americans.  Cap Carey is a sportswriter for the Watertown (NY) Daily Times, primarily covering Clarkson Men’s Hockey.

No one else has been able to confirm this news at this time, no reason to not believe Cap Carey at this time though.

TSN reported Wednesday night that Groulx will not be behind the bench for Canada when it attempts to win a fifth straight tournament.

Groulx will replace Randy Cunneyworth as coach in Rochester. Cunneyworth accepted a job as assistant coach of the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers last month. Rochester finished [...]Read More
