The Amerks have been hurting all season not only on defense but at the center position as well.  Mark Cullen has been cleared to play and assuming he clears waivers he should be in the Amerks lineup within the next week.

Cullen had 21 goals and 32 assists in 62 games last season for the Rockford IceHogs.  The Panthers signed him as a free agent in the off season but he suffered an achiles tendon in the preseason. When the injury happened in late September there were doubts he would even return this season.

The Amerks are on the road tonight to play against the Hershey Bears.

** Mark Cullen was signed to a one year two way deal at the same time.  [...]Read More
