Amerks lose second straight to Manitoba

After a heartbreaking loss last night, the Amerks fail to pick up the pace for their second straight game in two nights against the Manitoba Moose.

The lone goal for the evening/pair of games was from Mark Mancari.

The Amerks are without the talent of Kenndal McArdle and Andrej Sekera.  McArdle broke his jaw in a fight with Manitoba’s Jason Jaffray after a charging call in last night’s game.  Sekera has been called up to the Buffalo Sabres after an injury to Jaroslav Spacek’s shoulder.

The Amerks’ next game is at home on Friday, October 19th, once again against the Manitoba Moose at 7:35 pm.  This game will feature “Friday Night Frenzies” before the game.  You can listen to live music from Lever Down in the main lobby of The Blue Cross Arena.

Friday is college night at the Blue Cross Arena.  Students that have their college IDs with them can receive a $16.00 ticket for $10.00 or a $12.00 ticket for just $8.00.   It is also Boy Scout Night.
