Re: Overall Successful 3 in 3 Weekend

Well, Houser was called up. So is he exchanging places with Johansson? I know many here now have AHLtv. Was disappointed in the coverage from Hartford. The camera was up so high it was very hard getting involved with the play. Following the puck was difficult. The gif's on twitter are basically unwa...

Overall Successful 3 in 3 Weekend

Amerks first 3 road games this season came all at once....our 3 city journey in basically 2 1/2 days to Springlfield, Providence and Hartford. Last year that trip started with a massive thud, as Springfield exploded for 8 2nd period goals to ultimately bury the AMerks 9-4. Both our goalies took a ba...

Re: Amerks at Springfield

I'll take a boring win over an exciting loss any day of the week! We are all so tired of losing around here. Funny thing...when listening to Donnie's post game wrap, he almost sounded like we didn't win the game. It was just a bit strange. Like he wasn't expecting a win. Maybe it was just the way I ...

Re: Amerks at Springfield

Couldn't watch...either the DSL is screwing up or AHL tv is working right but all I got was buffering. Guess Amerks played a decent game. Missed a lot of opportunities but its all about scoreboard. 2-1 win and instead of starting out the season 0-2 like last year, we are 2-0.

thats good.

Amerks at Springfield

EVeryone remembers the last time we did this roadtrip thru those 3 cities. Started off with a blow out loss to Springfield and then a heartbraking loss to Providence. Then it looked like a lost weekend until they woke up in the 3rd period against Hartford, erasing their big lead and winning it in re...

Re: Bills Beat the J-E-T-S Jets

I hate giving that turncoat Pegula any credit for this right now. I'll leave it at that.

Re: The Wait is Over! It All Starts Again Tonite

Thompson will be the first recall...probably sooner than later. Nice to win a home opener...and in OT against our rival...better. Hammond looked sharp. Stopped a critical penalty shot. Our penalty kill was uneven...gave up two in the final seconds. But a great kill near the end of regulation. A crow...

The Wait is Over! It All Starts Again Tonite

It may end up being a very intimate gathering of a couple thousand diehards, but the 2019-20 Amerks finally put the show on the road (at home actually) tonite at the BCA (better known as Pegula's Shaft Alley) After a pretty successful training camp, many of last years Amerks are returning to try and...

Re: Gord Dineen assumes head coaching duties

Many here remember these coaches: Toe Blake, Punch Imlach, Billy Reay; Emile Francis, Harry Sinden, Fred Glover, and yeah the king of them all Eddie Shore....there are others of course from that 'era'....but they were all successful in their own right and they all had the respect of their players......
